  • Showcase the ability of Glass to enhance building design

The Special Challenges We Faced

  • Large panes of glass in tight working conditions
  • Glazing methods not seen in the region on a regular basis, with much learning along the way
  • Modifications to hardware to accommodate glass, including pivot fixing to a glass overpanel
  • Worldwide shortage of the main product required for the façade glazing

Product We Used

Internal Glazing: Euroglass Point Fix sliding system with 12mm toughened glass External Glazing: Euroglass Spider fixings with 13.52mm, 17.52mm and 21.52mm SentryGlas toughened laminate

Balustrading: Euroglass Euroanchors to steel posts with 10mm toughened glass

Results

A fantastic showcase of what can be achieved with a building when using glass as the main element, along with Euroglass hardware and systems.

Summary

An eye-catching building in the heart of a Heritage Building area, providing a workspace for people that is light, airy and invigorating. A well-designed project using glass as a hero building element, that also had its challenges requiring innovative products, skilled specialists and most importantly – patience.
